MLB superstar Shohei Ohtani thanked his former and current teams while accepting his 2023 American League MVP award at the 99th Baseball Writers' Dinner in New York this weekend. What he said: Ohtani, who typically speaks through his interpreter, Ippei Mizuhara, delivered a rare English speech while accepting his award on Saturday night. The two-way phenom then acknowledged and thanked his new team, the Dodgers, for believing in him.
