Schebler’s homer ices victory for Dodgers, Kershaw

Scott Schebler had to catch his breath.The Dodgers' rookie left fielder had looked foolish in his first two at-bats Monday against the Colorado Rockies, striking out twice. He strode to the plate in the eighth inning unprepared to play the hero, or at least the imposing hitter the Dodgers could use with so many imposing hitters already hurting.
