Veteran minor league coach John Shoemaker relishes Dodger Stadium visit

John Shoemaker was drafted by the Dodgers out of college in 1977 and hasn't left the organization since. Somehow, this week marks only the fourth time he's ever set foot on the field at Dodger Stadium in uniform."I got invited up the first year (2001) by Dave Wallace, who was our interim GM," Shoemaker recalled.
