Howie Kendrick was activated Friday after being out six weeks with a hamstring injury. He didn't play, so he wasn't really back until Saturday, when he started at second base for the Dodgers."Obviously, Howie's been a big guy all year long," Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said. "He's been solid for us, brought that leadership that we've needed, been good offensively.
