It was a hot day in many ways at Dodger Stadium on Thursday afternoon. Clayton Kershaw got hot at Dodgers manager Don Mattingly for taking him out after five innings. Not long after, Chris Heisey turned up the pennant-fever heat with a grand slam capping a six-run, fifth inning as the Dodgers defeated the Arizona Diamondbacks 6-3 before 38,234 who braved the 90-degree oven at Dodger Stadium.
