Zack Greinke was crushing the ball.Sure, it was only batting practice and sure, it was a sweltering Thursday afternoon, not the calm, cool air typical of Dodger Stadium in October. But Greinke doesn't often crush the ball. For all his talent at the plate (he's the only pitcher Don Mattingly batted eighth all season) Greinke does more damage via batting average than slugging percentage.
