Short of the Dodgers winning the World Series, the odds of manager Don Mattingly returning for a sixth season always seemed slim.Thanks to moves that Andrew Friedman made, and others he didn't since arriving last winter, the Dodgers weren't realistically a strong World Series contender.So it's no surprise it came to this.
