When the Dodgers drafted Vanderbilt pitcher Walker Buehler with the 24th overall pick in last year's draft, it came with an asterisk. There were concerns about the health of Buehler's right elbow, which ultimately needed Tommy John surgery shortly after the draft.The Dodgers seemed to circumvent that problem Thursday, when they used two of their first four picks on pitchers who have already had the procedure: Jordan Sheffield of Vanderbilt and Mitchell White of Santa Clara.
