LOS ANGELES >> The Dodgers got the nine-inning game they badly needed Thursday. Otherwise, the less said about their 6-0 loss to the San Diego Padres, the better. The return of Hyun-Jin Ryu to their starting rotation worked better in theory than in practice, at least for a day. Ryu (0-1) allowed six runs in 4 2/3 innings in his first major league start since October 2014.
