Dodgers left-hander Hyun-Jin Ryu didn't sustain the average left groin strain. This one appears much more severe. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts, who acknowledged he was no doctor, said Ryu tore the muscle off the bone. The club placed Ryu on the 10-day disabled list, but he'll be out much longer.
