Yasiel Puig finally slugged his first home run of the year on Sunday, a solo shot to left field off Luis Castillo in the bottom of the third inning to cut Cincinnati's lead over the Dodgers to 2-1. Earlier this week in a Yahoo.com article, Puig said his mother asked him to hit a home run for her on Mother's Day.
