Max Muncy logged an RBI double to help fuel a two-run seventh and Manny Machado recorded a multihit game in his Dodgers debut as Los Angeles held on in the series opener. Chris Taylor hit a go-ahead single in the seventh and Enrique Hernandez belted an insurance three-run homer in the ninth. Brewers All-Star Jesus Aguilar had tightened things with his NL-leading 25th home run in the eighth.
