LOS ANGELES -- Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp celebrated his 34th birthday on Sunday by slugging his 21st home run of the season to reach the 1,000 career RBI mark. Kemp's solo home run off San Diego starting pitcher Joey Lucchesi in the second inning, two batters after buddy Manny Machado's solo homer, placed him 11th in MLB, and fifth in the National League, for RBIs among active players. In addition to the home run, Kemp doubled in the third inning and added another pair of RBIs with a bases-loaded single in the fourth.
