Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said he chose to put left-handed-hitting catcher Yasmani Grandal in the starting lineup for Game 3 of World Series on Friday in part to curtail Boston's running game and in part because the switch-hitting Grandal is a better offensive matchup against Red Sox right-handed starter Rick Porcello than Austin Barnes.
